Created with Alchemy and Gimp 2.6.
The paper texture used for the background came from CGTextures -> Paper ->Decorative Paper
I recently bought Chaos & Evolutions DVD from the blender store. I haven't made it all the way throught the video yet, but what i have seen is very cool.
One of the programs used was Alchemy. It looked like fun so i gave it a go. This is the third or forth image i made with it.
About half way through making this I thought it looked like a Dwarf or a Viking. So i just started working with it. The more i worked it the more defined it became. Sketching with Alchemy is pretty easy.
Alchemy is pretty fun to use and not to difficult to work with. It does have some weird ways about it, but they do not hold you back.
As with all my work it belongs to me if for some reason you would like to use it ask.
